BellaRoca Cakes is a homegrown gourmet cakery located in the beautifully quaint town of Lawrence, Kansas. We specialize in a variety of creative, hand-made cakes, cake pops, cupcakes and confections for any and all occasions. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our creations and every order is custom made for each individual client.

BellaRoca Cakes was started by Desiree Lopez, in 2010 after learning the art of cake decorating & being asked by many friends to make cakes for their events.  A few years later, she started posting more cakes as well as behind the scenes videos of the making of those creations, on her YouTube channel.  She also found herself posting about other aspects of life as a wife and mother of two amazing children.   Because she was posting on her "personal" social media pages, she was dubbed the name "CakeBossMom" by friends.  This eventually grew into what it is today.  

 

She has several years experience making high end custom desserts as well as an exceptional attention to detail.  She is a master chef who has received professional training using Wilton based methods, incorporating a variety of flower, royal icing, gum paste, sculpting and fondant design.
